Can Tiki Do This? Collection Community Site
I'm getting a client request for a specific site, with a specific set of features, and I wanted to get an idea if Tiki can be the solution, or if I need to bark up a different tree.
It's essentially a collector's community site.
There will be a wiki-like knowledgebase of all of the widgets with all of the specifications of each widget and photos of said widgets. That's easy, I know Tiki can do that.
There will be members pages, so that people can register and have their specific collection of widgets with links to the wiki on their page, and also a want it, need it, have it, selling it, etc. Sort of functionality. I'm not sure how to handle this with Tiki.
Those member pages also work across related widget collector forum on same site.
Pipedream:
Some sort of auction house functionality, where users can bid on a member that wants to auction off one of their widgets. Is that even doable?
http://expressobeans.com/ Would be an example of a lot of the functionality I need to create for the site.
Any geniuses here know if Tiki Wiki would be a good fit for this project and what plugins I might need to install and configure to get this going?
