Can't modify content after apache security upgrade

I am running apache 1.3 on debian woody with tikiwiki 1.7.5 and up until last week everything was fine. Then there was a security patch for apache released by debian and naturally I installed it.

Afterwards I quickly discovered that the patch had overwritten my httpd.conf file and had thus disabled php. Once I restored the httpd.conf to the backup version (yes, I diffed them and the only change was the php4 module being commented out), everything seemed fine again but now although I can log in to tikiwiki and read, I can't modify any files. On clicking the save button, nothing much happens for a minute or two and the connection eventually times out. I have checked my apache log files and although I can see records of everything else there is no log of a PUT request when 'save' is clicked. Turning the error log parameter up to debug does not produce any more info.

The same thing has happened to all my tikiwiki based sites, as they are all run out of one instance of apache. I have googled and can't find any illumination... :-(

Hi!

Hey you coming to TikiFestUK2 next week? wink

Check whats happened with your php.ini file. Remember that Tiki especially that 1.7 family needs more than 8Mb of memory_limit.

I'm afraid not. It's expensive travelling from Belfast. :-(

I've had a look at php.ini and it hasn't been modified since Feb. Memory limit is 16MB...
