Permissions ? Problem

question

I have installed Tiki v1.7.1.1 -Eta Carinae
On Windows 2000 Server
Using IIS
PHP Version 4.3.3

Everything works fine if I connect to the server directly using
localhost/tiki
or
homeserver/tiki (actual name)

but when I try to connect to it from the "external" address (My domain redirected to a dyndns)

I get the home page OK, but I cannot log in. It does not give me any errors.

I assume this is a permissions problem.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks in Advance !

Ross

I don't think this has to do anything with permissions but rather which URL you defined as homepage in Tiki. If you want to use Dynamic DNS with your Tiki site then you have to make sure that your dynamic DNS domain is specified in the Admin panel > Login > HTTP server name.

Pat.
