1 install for multiple domains.

I wasn't sure what category this would fall into, so figured it might be good here.

G'day.

I am looking for a CMS type application that will allow users to log in,
add/edit/remove pages and such for their own webpage. However, I would prefer a
single install on a server for multiple and separate domains. Such that they
can't modify each others, but all have their own unique and distinct settings.
Furthermore, preferably it would be beneficial, if there were a set list of top
level categories (ex: menu options in a graphic) that can not be modified, but
everything below this is possible to alter, and again, unique for each domain.

Does Tikiwiki allow for this, straight out of the box, or does it require
modifications?

Thanx for your time.

Works like this via a installation option smile

MultiTiki does this, using 1 set of the codebase you can have unlimited installs coming in from unlimited domains/subdomains/whatever you fancy.

Sweet! I wasn't aware of that, will have to check it out.

This provides distinct domains and distinct skins and such? Pretty much, everything's separate except for the code & db.

Each site has its own database

This site tikiwiki.org shares its code with about 30 other sites on a multi-tiki install and doc.tikiwiki.org, uk.tikiwiki.org and dupli.tikiwiki.org all are a muti-tiki on my hosting servers with a load of others too.
