Can you explain a bit more?

exactly I want to extract 300 of starting plain text characters of any new page to show in my first page using a plugin. All is done, but I want to remove any wiki syntax, like :: and also like {CODE()} and so on, from the page data taken from tiki_pages sql table.
So I want to know if there is any function doing this.
If any point remaining, I would describe.

Thanks

I presume you are using this for some sort of "breif text" plugin that would show the first few lines or something. My own route (unpublished or untested yet) has been to create a {BRIEF} plugin which the other plugin would scan for, much in the same way that the other plugin may be scanning for my tags plugin (again - this is an untested and unreleased thing at the moment, so dont get excited anyone).

That is exactly what I want, but what should I do?
Wait until you release it?
