ACLs and "list" functions

I'm fairly new to TikiWiki, only been using it for a few months, so maybe this has already been discussed to death... But one thing that bothers me is that ACLs aren't applied when calling functions like list_blogs(). Meaning, if I enable a module like "Last Created blogs", all blogs will show up, no matter who you are logged in as, and no matter what the ACLs are...

Granted, they can't view the blogs if they don't have the permissions. But, it's both confusing for the users, and sometimes undesirable for the author, that these restricted listings shows up at all.

Looking at the code, I can't see an easy way to do this? Any comments?

Cheers,

Well, as it turns out, "fixing" this for Blogs and Wiki Pages wasn't too hard. In fact, most of the code was already there for Blogs, and I just had to port it to Wiki Pages. Is there any interest to have such a feature for the mainstream package? It'd have to be configurable, obviously.

Well... I'm evaluating the tiki for use in a rather big company, and the concept of completely free wiki is hard to sell. Having a possibilities to set access policies to just about everything can help a lot, and I'm sure the folks here wouldn't like some secret blogs of theirs appearing in a 'Last created' list. wink.

A blocking thing is the lack of an "Admin Modules" page somewhere. Of course, not the one for the postion, but for params :-S
