admin is logged out for usermanagement / session in database

Hi,

I have noticed that I'm getting logged out when trying to administer user or group settings as admin, when the session info is stored in the database.

What is strange is that the first call to tiki-adminusers.php succeeds (I see the user listing) but the next call to it shows the "you are not logged in" error message.
It seems that the first call to tiki-adminusers.php loggs me out although is does show the right result.

I can reproduce this on my machine by logging in as admin, clicking on "users" in the admin section (I see the user list) and then clicking on it again (I see "you are not logged in").

Looking at the error messages displayed through the webinterface I have noticed the error message below, but it is also displayed during normal operations when I dont get logged out subsequently.

PHP (5.1.6) NOTICE (8):
File: lib/adodb/session/adodb-session.php
Line: 425
Type: Undefined index: ADODB_SESS_CONN

The error is not reproducable on my laptop and I dont have full access to the machine where the error occurrs. Any help on what I could do would thus be very much appreciated.

many thanks
Kurt

Why do you need this feature?

Hi,

I need it because the wiki runs on multiple servers and sessions sometimes get switched to the other server by the loadbalancer. The session must thus be stored centrally.

Where can I find more information on storing the session in the DB? Any ideas why storing works fine for the admin in all cases execpt user/group management?

thanks!
Kurt
