White page when trying to edit Posted by huogas 23 Sep 2010 11:03 GMT-0000 posts: 22 Hello I have no idea of what parameter I set incorrectly, but I'm now unable to edit my wiki pages. When clicking "edit" or the icon "edit", I just have a blank page. Using 5.1 Same result with Chrome and IE Any idea about this situation ? Thanks, Gaston

Posted by Darren 24 Sep 2010 03:28 GMT-0000 posts: 289 So you haven't uploaded any new Tiki files or tried to upgrade recently? To answer your debug question: Yes, I can't remember where, I think under General Admin. You might also have to turn on the debug panel under "look and feel" too. Update: I just had a look myself and to turn the debugging messages on it is under General administration option. Plus, as stated you will need to turn on the "debugger console" under "Look and Feel" administration option. It will then appear at the bottom of the page (at least it did for me).

Posted by huogas 24 Sep 2010 11:14 GMT-0000 posts: 22 The blank page appears just after clicking "edit". So, I cannot edit at all. I remember, I dont know where, setting a function to open the page in a "...box..." Maybe it was in my dream... Gaston
Posted by Darren 24 Sep 2010 11:38 GMT-0000 posts: 289 Are you using the "autosave draft" feature or other AJAX features? Does it happen with the standard editor and the WYSWYG editor? Can you "preview" pages okay?
Posted by huogas 24 Sep 2010 12:14 GMT-0000 posts: 22 I have no access to the page in edit mode, not at all. About your question about AJAX features, let's say that I probably set something that causes this behavior, but there is so many options that I'm a little lost. Gaston
Posted by Darren 24 Sep 2010 14:09 GMT-0000 posts: 289 Do you have other features turned on, that permit you to enter text? For example, can you post a new article, forum post, send an internal message or create a blog post? As far as AJAX goes you probably want to turn off (at least for now) those features if they aren't already. You'll find some options on the Features admin pages, under the "Experimental" tab/section. You can turn off the WYSWYG editor here too, if it isn't already.
Posted by huogas 24 Sep 2010 14:47 GMT-0000 posts: 22 More info: I cannot create a new wiki page, but I can create a post and answer a message. Is there a quick way to just return all the options to their default status ? If not I will probably just re-installed the whole thing and start over. Gaston
