Illegal Offset error when assigning permissions
Hi,
I have recently installed Tiki version 5.3 using Fantastico, and on the whole things are working well, except for one quite critical problem concerning the assignment of permissions.
I believe it is the same problem described here, but that thread unfortunately doesn't show a resolution.
The problem occurs when accessing just about any "permissions" page (i.e. clicking the key icon), where the error message:
Warning: Illegal offset type in /home/XXXXXXX/public_html/wiki/lib/smarty_tiki/function.treetable.php on line 320
... will be displayed for each object in the result set (hope that makes sense). Unfortunately, ignoring the messages isn't an option, as any changes made and submitted are ineffective.
I need to be able to prevent registered users from administering categories, but the above problem occurs when trying to edit permissions at the global or object level.
I'd really like to persevere and make this work, as my target users will not necessarily be technically savvy, and all of the other Wikis I know of don't have anything like such an intuitive interface for average users as Tiki does.
Any help you can give me is gratefully received - thanks.
Dave
