How can I main my existing root directories and make tiki be my main page.

my website is pretty simple http://mmccoo.com. It's an index.html linking to a bunch of galleries in subdirs.

I've installed tiki in a directory called wiki.

I want to maintain index.html through tiki while keeping my existing directories.

How can I configure things so when I go to mmccoo.com it actually loads mmccoo.com/wiki and still have access to mmccoo.com/

I could change the root dir of my site to the wiki dir, but then my other dirs would no longer be visible.

I hope the question makes sense.

Thanks for your time
Miles

There are a few things you can try but I would need more information about how would would like to continue accessing the mmccoo.com/index.html file after you set the /wiki/tiki-index.php file to load by default.

You can set tiki to load even in the /wiki directory in a variety of ways. (I.E. Cpanel Redirector or a simple php redirector like the one shown below.)

Copy to clipboard

(This would be your new index.php file at the root of your domain.)

Accessing your old site would depend on how you need to do it. Can you rename the index.html file to something else and access it that way (http://www.mmccoo.com/galleries.html) which could then be linked to in your tiki menu?

Or are you needing to access it via the actual domain and have the index.html file load by default?

I hope that makes sense. :-)
