Could someone kindly point me to the high-level routine (assuming there is one) that, given a string, converts wiki markup to HTML? I wish to have file descriptions parsed, primarily to create links to wiki articles.

Even if only a subset of tags would be functional(IE no plugins, etc) that is perfectly fine with me.
