    I have tried to use the importer from 6Rc1 to 6.3. Same problem every time. The script hangs at the same point no matter what. i I have even tried a different server. I will provide any additional information necessary Please let me know what can be done. Thanks.

    It hangs right after Avatar
    Page "User:Avatar" successfully parsed with 1 revisions (from a total of 1 revisions).

    Hi Visionblured,

    I never really understood why but sometimes Text_Wiki (http://pear.php.net/package/Text_Wiki), the package we use to convert wiki syntax from Mediawiki to Tiki, crashes and kill the Apache process. I tried to import the file you provided and got the following error:

    $ tail -f /var/log/apache2/error.log
    [Tue May 31 14:33:37 2011] [notice] child pid 8396 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

    To avoid this problem you can edit XML file and remove the page after User:Avatar. You might have to remove other pages.

    Unfortunately this is the best solution until someone find enough time/budget to properly fix this issue.
