Login Error and Together Plugin

New to Tiki. Have the latest version. I have two problems: I want to get rid of the login error on the homepage when people first go to the site; and I want to remove the Together Plugin from the right hand sidebar. I've attached three screenshots.

  1. First screenshot is of the ELSE text that follows the GROUP items. Initially, it did show on the homepage when logged out. But it isn't there anymore. I tried to figure out what I did to cause the change but could not.

  1. Second screenshot shows what is now on the homepage when not logged in. There is the login error, althought members can still login. Note the Together module on the right. I want it gone but can't see it anyway except in the plugin list where I disabled it. How do I get rid of it?

  1. Third screenshot is what I would ideally like to see on the homepage when people are not logged in, that is a login module and a note saying that it is a private site. Is there a way to do this?

Great. I see that I can only have one attachment. So I've attached the third screenshot of what I would like the homepage to look like without the Together plugin on the right. The url is peerally.notamuse.com if you want to take a look at what it is now.

Thank you.

You can only post a single screen shot to each forum post. You can create your own user page and then post the images there, if you want.

The login message on your home page is because you have a permission setting that does not allow the Anonymous group to view the page.

To remove the Together module from the right column, simply click the REMOVE button from the Assigned Modules tab. You might find my primer helpful.

Thank you. I don't normally use screenshots, but it is good to know I can post on my own page.

The only permission assigned to anonymous is tiki_p_view in global permissions. I see that in objects permission that only registered users had tiki_p_view for the Homepage. I've changed that to anonymous, and everything is back to where I want it. Wasn't aware of doing anything to objects permission. I was purposefully avoiding it until I had a better grasp of permissions.

I had visited the modules page, but it wasn't obvious to me the double clicking a module to edit meant that I could also remove the module. Perhaps that could be made explicit in the module notice: "Double click them to edit or remove."

Thanks again for responding. I'm liking Tiki more and more.

Cheers
