AAAAHH!! I've broken it! (no login box)

version 1.7.4

I am trying to make a "private" wiki (development discussion of a project that I'm working on), and wanted to hide a module from random visitors, so I went to "general options" (tiki-admin.php?page=general) and de-selected "Display modules to all groups always:" then saved. seeing as the login box is a module in itself, it is not displaying. and now I can't login to change anything! (i.e. correct my mistake!)

how do people advise I rectify the problem. I have access to the database itself, and tried digging through the code to find the database entry that refers to "Display modules to all groups always:" I changed that to "y" (from "n") and still the problem, so I presume that it requires simething else to be changed.

I would try editing the table "tiki_modules" (making suitable backups, naturally!) however, the format for the data entry is a bit complicated on first look.

redface
(HELP!)
