Using improper names for things is bad for your health.
With that said, the tracker feature should be renamed to something more appropriate.
What's more, the word tracker has some bad connotations associated with it. People generally dislike being tracked...
I know that initially it was used as an aid for bug tracking, but that just confuses things when considering it for other uses.
At a minimum, refer to it as a DATA tracker, one that can be customized.
