Saving pageId in tracker

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to save the page Id in a tracker through autosavevalues.

Thanks,
Sabrina

Hi Sabrina,

although wiki pages have ID numbers and can be identified by their ID number, other than almost all other Tiki object their unique identifier is the wiki page name.

There is a 'wiki page' field in trackers to be alloated with a text field for the wiki page name, which create wiki pages, allocate them to the tracker item (both on save) and optionally syncs with the tracker item wiki page name field (of type textfield) and optionally deletes the wiki page, when the tracker item is deleted.

If you need the wiki page ID as result when you display tracker items, you might want to have a deep look into Plugin List or Plugin Custom search magic (a very deep look). It might be possible to find a way to display the ID number instead of the wiki page itself. But I never had this use case and have no specific idea how to accomlish that.

Maybe somebody else can give you a hint, when you have setup a test tracker with few wiki pages and LIST / Custom Search outpout.

Cross fingers and good luck,
regards,
Torsten

Hello Torsten,

yes, that did it. I tried that before without success, but then I saw that the Admin -> Editing & Plugins has to be activated as well and then it worked.

Thank you,
Sabrina
