    I've generated several forums and want to re-order them so the most important (to me! :-) ) is at the top of the pile ~ it is currently 5th and sinking as each new forum is added.

    Where is is forum sort order stored?

    On the forms admin page (tiki-admin.php?page=forums) under the Forum Listing tab, there's a selector to choose the default order for forum listings.. Will one of those options give you the result you want?
