    • Installing Tiki database

    I am trying to install Tiki on my new VPS at https://u3ahub.com/tiki/
    I have created the database, which checks out as OK on Plesk, but using Tiki installer 21.4 with what looks like all the correct information, I get an error 'Database `tiki`. Unable to connect to database.
    So, I am trying manual installation, I have phpMyAdmin but do not know how to use it to create db/local.php file. (As I said, new VPS and steep learning curve)
    Suggestions please

    I fixed this. Once I understood that I did not have to use phpMyAdmin to do it, I could use notepad and FTP.

    Having installed db/local.php with the correct credentials I proceed and get to the security loop which does not accept the credentials in db/local.php. No matter how many times I enter the correct credentials it reverts to "moodle_root" which is not the name or username of any of my databases, though I do have Moodle installed.
    I can see historic mentions of this problem in the archives, but no explanation of how to fix it
