Im working on a image importer similar to way coppermine works. Will be included in 1.9 shortly. Ive re-added these comments because Im working on this area, please do not remove them again chealer.
Batch upload should not upload the ZIP file - This tracker does not belong here it belongs on file gallery dev - Damian

Damian: Id like to add better category support to the image galleries here, mainly allowing each image to be categorised as well as a gallery. That would solve all my image gallery problems. Oh these Image Scales need fixing on the file system too, After a brief look, the code only seems to get to check the database table. Who knows I might even get time myself soon 😉
