How about a Thor Heyerdahl connected mascot? Either a Moai - here's a couple of images from Wikipedia:

or one of the fantastic Inca gods? (Thor lived there for many years)

(not the best one but can find more if anyone else likes the idea)

Also, i'd be happy to make some artwork up so it's more of a "design"
