Title: Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware: An invitation to be active in the community Hi! I did a search for "TikiWiki" on LinkedIn and your user profile came up, so I figured I'd touch base with you ð 9 years ago, I joined the TikiWiki project. Since then, it has been renamed to "Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware" and has become the Free/Open Source Web Application with the most built-in features: http://tiki.org/FOSS+Web+Application+with+the+most+built-in+features It's exciting to see how people are using Tiki, how it's helping them achieve their goals and how the project evolved from an ambitious "plausible promise" to what it is today. At this rate, we'll hit 1 million downloads in May 2012! So far, 260 people have committed code ( http://tiki.org/List+of+all+code+contributors ) and we have a core of active people in the community. However, we know this is only the tip of the iceberg as we are regularly discovering really awesome things that have been done with Tiki. I want to make it clear that Tiki is a community effort and everyone is invited to participate. I like to think of Tiki as like Wikipedia but for code instead of content (knowledge): https://tiki.org/Wikipedia+content+guidelines+and+how+they+relate+to+Tiki+software+features There are many ways to participate. Advocacy, translations, documentation, themes, testing, etc. If you code, you should know that Tiki has a "wiki way" commit policy:
I'd like to know how you use Tiki (or used in the past). What did you use it for? Where do you see its future?
