    <title type="html"><![CDATA[Tiki 29 Is Released — A Feature-Rich Update with Modernization, UX Enhancements, and Privacy Tools]]></title>
    <summary type="html"><![CDATA[<div class='lead'>🎉 The Tiki community is proud to announce the release of Tiki 29, the latest Standard Term Support (STS) version of Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware. This release brings a wide array of improvements, modernizations, and new features that continue to make Tiki one of the most comprehensive and flexible Open Source web applications available. </div>

<br />Tiki 29 will be supported until the release of Tiki 30.1, in accordance with the <a class="wiki external" target="_blank" title="External link" href="https://tiki.org/Versions" rel="external nofollow">Tiki lifecycle policy</a><span class="icon icon-link-external fas fa-external-link-alt "   ></span>.

<p>Tiki 29 brings a wide range of enhancements and additions for general users and editors. For example, <strong>Summernote</strong> has been added as the new WYSIWYG editor, replacing CKEditor 4 for improved editing and styling capabilities. A new <strong>"Back to Top" button</strong> aids page navigation. Users can generate an avatar with <strong>DiceBear</strong> as an alternative to uploading their own profile picture. And there's a new option to enable all <strong>collapsible sections</strong> on a page to be collapsed or expanded with a single click.</p>

    <title type="html"><![CDATA[Interactive Translations: Collaborative i18n Tiki Site – The Second Iteration]]></title>
    <summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Fourteen years ago, the Tiki community launched something bold: an <strong><a href="https://doc.tiki.org/Interactive%20Translation" class="wiki ext_page doc">interactive translation system</a></strong> that allowed contributors to translate the Tiki interface directly in context. It worked beautifully, supporting more than 40 languages, running on a server dedicated to this purpose, and contributing translations directly into the source code (using <a class="wiki external" target="_blank" title="External link" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_Subversion" rel="external nofollow">SVN</a><span class="icon icon-link-external fas fa-external-link-alt "   ></span>, the version-control technology widely used at that time). That first iteration showed how internationalization (i18n) could be made fun, accessible, and community-driven.
