As an LTS (Long-Term Support) release, Tiki 30 provides a stable foundation for organizations looking for a Tiki version to deploy and maintain for the coming years.

Modernization under the hood

A lot of work in Tiki 30 happens behind the scenes. Dependencies and development tools have been updated, older components have been replaced, and compatibility with newer versions of PHP and other technologies has been improved. This work may not always be visible, but it is important for keeping a platform that has been evolving for more than 20 years healthy and maintainable

These releases include a mix of security fixes and stability improvements. We strongly urges all site administrators to apply these updates immediately.

🚀 Highlights for general users

Tiki 29 brings a wide range of enhancements and additions for general users and editors. For example, Summernote has been added as the new WYSIWYG editor, replacing CKEditor 4 for improved editing and styling capabilities. A new "Back to Top" button aids page navigation. Users can generate an avatar with DiceBear as an alternative to uploading their own profile picture. And there's a new option to enable all collapsible sections on a page to be collapsed or expanded with a single click.
