    • How to hide the application_menu?

    Hi all!

    I need to have the application_menu shown only for admins, but not for anonymous and registered users. I went to the modules menu and unmarked the "Registered" and "Anonymous", but it still shows the menu for them.

    So, how do I hide it for them and have it shown only for admins?

    In admin/ modules , choose edit your module "application_menu" and assign the administrator group (depending on the profile or waht you did an admin group can already exist or not)

    I don't have administrators group. How do I create one? Just create a group and give ALL permissions?

    just did it. i created admins group, assigned myself to it, and went to admin-modules and assigned the application_menu only the admins group. it still shows for anonymous and registered though.

    is this a bug? what do i do now?

    You will also need to make sure the setting in Admin->General->Display modules to all groups always is unticked for this to work. Otherwise modules are always displayed to everyone whatever groups you assign them too.
