Anonymous Users can change language?

Hi,

I'm creating a web site and I want to allow anonymous users (not logged) to change the site language. In order that, I assign the module switch_lang to the admin and anonymous groups, I checked the features "User Preferences Screen" and "Reg users can change language" in administration area, but even with that the anonymous users can't change language (all the other users can).

Just to make me more confused, I try this steps in other site and it works!!!

Can you guys tell me what is missing me???

Thanks
Nuno

Which tiki release?
A bug was fixed some time (in 1.8) ago about register_globals - in one case it was not working

My tiki version is v1.8.2...

Was done in 1.8.3 ... so if you can upgrade to 1.8.4 or 1.8cvs. The upgrade is not risky - no database change

but like I said before, I try in another site with version v1.8.2 and it works!

This is very strange

I am pretty sure that the php conf is not the same - if I well remember it is registers_globals
Do a phpinfo on each server and you will see
