I don't think there's any way to do that with Tiki's standard features. Sounds like a job for a custom user module, or a new module (php/tpl files) for Tiki. The idea makes a lot of sense; I use categories as a kind of site map, but have to do menus separately. It'd be great if a menu could just import the category tree.
