Damian,
thank you for your interest. Yes, I would loe to join forces. The domain tikiwiki.biz is a very appropriate name.

I want to drop some lines on the idea and the content for the site.

The basic idea is that I think that Tikiwiki really has the potential to be a great portal/community solution for small and midsized business. I think your website (and maybe mine: www.insightknowledge.com) are good examples of what is possible. While setting up the technology is one thing, information on how to use it effectively for your customers, partners, etc. is really nowhere to be found (or I couldnt google it redface).

For content I was thinking about:
-articles to post news of TW usage, functional news, etc.
-a best practice library
-forums to discuss usage by industry (telecom, fincance, etc.) and/or business function (sales, marketing, IT, etc.)
-training courses (including free ones (!)
-library of where to look for help (postings by contractors offering their help, links to companies to provide info, development, support)
-to only enable the functionality in this new wiki that has a purpose for the audiences of the website.
-to provide multiple levels of subscription (some may be for charge to cover the time/cost to provide professional level information and service)). NOTE: i believe in a unregulated internet, free information and the likes, but at some point the time and efforts of individuals to provide high quality information needs to be supported by a cost model, otherwise the whole idea collapses (one needs to make some money to pay bills).

I believe that there are lots of open source portals out there, and lots of communities to talk about technology, but if you are a small business owner who wants to utilize it, one is really kind of lost. I would like to fill this gap (both technically as well as functionally) - well, thats why I am a consultant mrgreen.

My (extensive) $.02
Stefan
