Antariel, no idea, it looks right (I have a running tiki with local.php as this one and it works fine. I guess that you set up the same user and password for both databases.

I would try adding a default conf., such as:

...
 default:
  case '/test1/':
    $dbs_tiki = 'test1';
    $tikidomain = 'test1';
    break;
  exit();

And check then if you see the default tiki, then, or what happens then...
