    Your picture data is empty. WhY?

    As you can't upload jpg.... can you before? What do you use ? GD? with imagick you will not have the problem (look in admin->img gallery
    Perhaps your GD library is too old..
    Did you try to change store in bd/ store in directory .. just to see what happens
