Do you mean wiki pages? I'm not aware of anything like "auto-approve submissions" related to wiki pages, and can't find anything in the docs about it. Where did you read that? I know only about forum posts, CMS/news articles, directory links and calendar events maybe that have a pre-publish approval feature.
