If it is set, specific information that they need to capture, you may want to use trackers instead. You can create a web "form" that all they have to do is enter the necessary information.

The scenario is that as they call on a customer or learn more about a market segment, they can go to the site and enter the information. The problem is the text editor capabilites in Articles. The tags are not intuitive and will be difficult for an occasional user to submit a relatively decent looking article. Is there a better way to do this. Can word files be imported with format intact; and if so, how. I cannot find anything to make me think this can be done.
