I think Gary is right, the best way to fix this is through the database. I would think that if you have a database you likely have some tool to change the information in it.

However, If you do not, I have had luck fixing this kind of thing by remming out the lines noted in the error message. So in your case either the line on,
Smarty.class.php on line 1088 OR
Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 580

This may break other parts of the site but sometimes allows enough access to let you fix the problem through your TW.
