> Gary... I know you are a super member of the community and I'm just a noob,

Hey, I'm just a guy with some time available and a few years' experience with Tiki, and everybody starts out as a noob.... wink

> but surely there are responses possible besides "wait an indefinite amount of time for the next version, which your host may or may not provide you with anyway..."

Yeah, not very satisfying, I know.

I checked the Tiki CVS files at Sourceforge and found it added back to the repository: here. smile Thanks to sylvieg.

> Sorry if this sounds strident, but I've just wasted several badly needed days working around a problem (not at all the fault of Tikiwiki et al), but frustrating. This one looks (to my ignorant self) like it really is the "fault" of a problem with Tikiwiki and it looks like it could be addressed by the community... and isn't that what communities are for?

Yep. Sorry to hear about the frustration, and it's probably no comfort to know you're not the only one but, again, it's the nature of the beast.

About this plugin, I tried it a little and it doesn't seem to work at all in Opera (which has a few obscure javascript glitches, it seems), and in Firefox it opens but I didn't see right away how to get it to close after mouseover, so maybe you'll have to experiment. If it can't be configured to work, a bug report should be filed at dev.tikiwiki.org.
