> When I run the install I get the following at the top of the page and there are no install profiles available

You're missing the files in the ../db/profiles/.. directory (or maybe the entire directory). Make sure that you completely FTPed all the files to your host. For a list of the profiles, see: http://tikiwiki.cvs.sourceforge.net/tikiwiki/tiki/db/profiles/
