Re: How to autostart flash in wiki pages without needing to click on movie???

Checking around a little, I found that there is an autoplay or autostart parameter for .flv players, that Tiki's FLASH plugin doesn't seem to support out of the box. I more or less hacked a FLASHAUTOPLAY wikiplugin that will start the movie when the page loads if the parameter is set (autoplay=>1). Download: wikiplugin_flashautoplay.php (1.53 Kb). I did the modification quickly and only tested a little, so use with care at first wink.

If you have a lot of pages with the FLASH plugin and want them to autoplay, probably the default FLASH plugin could be modified with the changes in FLASHAUTOPLAY (the code additions but not the renaming within the file), with no bad effects (if the autoplay parameter isn't found, the movie just waits for the click as usual). But again this was tested exactly once in one browser, so it'd be good to check that pages are working ok.
