I believe that the link attribute requires a qualified URL (that is, no spaces) — not wiki syntax. You need to change it to:
;{img src="img/People/DoeJ.JPG" width=75 height=100 link=tiki-index.php?page=John+Doe}:((John Doe|John Doe)) %%%Senior ))Vice-President(( %%%Ext. 9999
