    • Creating a menu item that points adding tracker items

    Goal: Create a Menu item that will point to the add tracker items screen.
    Tiki:1.9.8.3
    Groups Involved: Registered Permissions Granted:p_create_tracker_items, p_list_trackers, p_modify_tracker items

    Created this menu item:
    Name: List Manager Openings
    URL:tiki-vew_tracker.php?trackerId=2 (there is no quick URL for this)
    Sections: trackerId=2 (no idea if this is right)
    Permissions: tiki_p_create_tracker_items
    Group: Registered

    The item is added to the menu, but will not show up in preview. Is that an indication that the item is invalid? How do I create this menu item? TIA, Dave

    Yes! That worked. The working config is:
    Name: List Manager Openings
    URL:tiki-vew_tracker.php?trackerId=2 (there is no quick URL for this)
    Sections: trackerId=(left empty)
    Permissions: tiki_p_create_tracker_items
    Group: Registered

    The Sections field is for grouping menu items by Tiki feature references (such as feature_blog). See here for complete details.
