Salut!

oh key - if this all was written in english I would have understood - but tell me what does that make sense when multiple tikis are using one Database? The only reason that I can think of is different designs / layouts, but this is all relative due to tiki offers theme support.

I use a hacked version of tiki to achieve this:

I have multiple tikis running in separate sub directories of the same server. They all have their own dbs but use the users and groups table of the main tiki. This way, I can give different access to a consistent user base in the seperate tikis. I am also thinking of sharing the main tikis wiki tables in order to have a consistent copy of multiply used pages.

I use this setup because i provide special purpose websites. In the long run, people are supposed to be able to register on the main site and then apply to the sub sites.

I am very curious if this is possible with one db only... ive tried hacking the db schema that comes with tiki, but that didnt work too well.

exactly what i want ! how did you achieve this ?

i read all the multiple tiki install and didnt get to the point of "many tikis on user+group db".
