Features should appear automatically in the menu when they are enabled, and visible to groups with permission to see them. No menu editing should be needed to make these items display. This is the way it's designed to work and if it doesn't, then it's buggy. I tested this today and the first time I was at the site, logged in as a new registered user, I couldn't see the forum or other items other than Wiki and ))MyTiki(( links. Later I visited the site again as the registered user (after being logged in as admin — don't think that'd make a difference, though) and this time all the features' links were shown in the menu. I didn't do any menu or permission editing between the visits. I'll try to get more information on this.
