It seems that you inadvertently configured the log-in in some way that prevents you from logging in. This setting is stored in the Tiki database, so re-installing the files with FTP won't have any effect, as the database remains untouched unless you specifically edit or delete and replace it.
To start with a fresh, default database, you have to replace its contents. I imagine this can be done by running the Tiki installation script again (going to tiki-install.php) and indicating that you want to have the default database. This will replace your current log-in settings with the basic Tiki log-in procedure.
