Looking at your site with Firefox's Firebug Inspect Element tool, I see that the phplayers menu module doesn't appear to have the overflow=y parameter set. In fact Firebug says the div.box module containing the menu is overflow:hidden. (At themes.tikiwiki.org, this module shows div class="box box-menu_43" style="overflow: visible; z-index: 2;" in the source. This is inline CSS produced by setting the module parameter.) Can you doublecheck on your tiki-admin_modules.php that the module containing your phplayers menu has this parameter added?
