You could use Tiki's http://doc.tikiwiki.org/hotwords.

In your example, you would simply create a hotword helmet that links to the appropriate page on your site (e.g., tiki-index.php?page=helmet). Now, anytime the word helmet is used in a wiki page, it will be linked.
