OK. Actually my first thought was to suggest not using parentheses in page names. Any time reserved or other special characters are used in page names, which are also part of the url and therefore complicate things, it's likely that not every detail will turn out as desired. Incidentally, I sometimes get the html encoding for a space rather than a plus sign in pages that contain a space, even when it doesn't contain special characters; I haven't noticed a pattern that causes this.
