The width is specified in the theme stylesheet - in the case of your site, in styles/eatlon.css. I gave it a pixel width because Firefox won't impose a scrollbar in this context without one (unless there's a trick to making that happen that I haven't found yet). And the width is narrow in order for the Eatlon design to fit in a 1024px-wide display. You can edit eatlon.css (line 586) or, as of Tiki 3, you can put a new "custom.css" stylesheet file in styles/eatlon/ with just the new .codelisting {width: ... ;} rule (replace the dots with a pixel or percentage width), and it'll override the original value.
