I'm not sure about Tiki3.0, but in Tiki 4 there's an "Add file" button that lets you add another upload form (on tiki-upload_file.php), to get and upload more than one file at a time (this can be clicked repeatedly for more forms), and there's also an "Unzip zip files" checkbox, which I assume means you could zip your files into bigger archives, then upload them, and have them unzip as separate files after they are uploaded.
Probably 3.0 should be updated to 3.3 to benefit from bug fixes, etc. anyway, but I don't know offhand if 3.3 has these file upload features.
