Re: new plugin removes ability to access plugin admin area
The way of managing plugins has been changed, and I'm not sure it's possible still to just drop and go, but I don't know offhand what the procedure is for adding a plugin that isn't in the default package. The docs on this should be available eventually, or you could try asking on IRC. (It could also be that the plugin is no longer compatible.)
