Using the latest BRANCH-1-8 code and if you also checkout the phplayers module you can use the phplayers menu.
We have 95% integration with it, the 1 think missing is the horizontal support, but its something I would certainly work on. Mose has done the phpLayers integration, so maybe you can drop him a Tiki Message and find out its current horizontal status
