I tried that - not sure if I did right.
When I change the allocation of the database, probably new tables will be in utf8, but all existing tables stay in latin1, indifferent, if I import or switch the allocation of the existing DB.
When I did restart the installer in a Tiki5 installation, I had the possibility to convert the DB - that would be fine for the Tik3 DB aswell. But in Tiki3 I do not have this function.
Converting with a Tiki5, I guess, I would not be able to use the DB back in Tiki3 - am I right with that?
So due to some issues, I still need the Tiki3 installation running at least for a couple of weeks.
