    Dear All,

    on my tikiwiki 4.1 site I have the problem that a blank page is shown instead of the permission denied page.
    Example. If I am not logged in, and I'm trying to access a restricted page I see a blank page instead of the login-page I use to see. The same thing happens to logged in users that do not have access rights to a page.

    I suspect that this is due to some category and permission changes I did some time ago, but I cannot figure out in which way they affect the "access restricted" page.

    I don't really know where to start looking for a solution. Is there a system page that is responsible for showing the "access restricted" message?
    Unfortunately I do not have access to the webserver log, but I dont think that there is a programming error, since it used to show the page allright.

    Please, Upgrade to Tiki5.x asap (latest stable branch, with security fixes) and once done, apply the Debug mode Enabled profile to your site:

    See http://profiles.tiki.org/DebugON

    This will enable the error reporting, to see whether there is some php or smarty error, which produce a blank screen due to some bug, or it's related to memory isues (you would see the error message in the screen, even if anonymous)
