    Hi,

    Is there an easy way to remove the space around a banner and make it compact?
    I have tried editing the css file of the theme and it works; but the side effect is that other elements depending on the styles get distorted (e.g., .box)

    I am wondering if there is a way to define styles just for the banners in the css. I can not locate the div ids such as mod-Banner-boxp1, Banner-box etc. that are present in the html in any of the css or tpl files. Are these generated at runtime? CSS assistant did not take me much further either.

    Any pointers most appreciated. Thanks.

    Found the answer, pretty simple but came after trying all the complex css research.

    All it needed was to add a parameter to the banner module:
    nobox=y
